Dr. Robert Ledda, M.D. is the founder and lead physician of Community Health and Wellness in Soldotna, Alaska.
Dr. Ledda is dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness at any age. He stepped away from a successful career in Emergency Medicine to study the science of longevity. His pursuit of knowledge transcended traditional boundaries, inspiring him to chart a compelling course beyond the symptom-based approach to disease. With unwavering commitment, Dr. Ledda offers his patients the knowledge, resources and support necessary for achieving their full health potential.
Dr. Ledda’s career as a medical practitioner began with a rigorous tenure at the esteemed University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he rose to the challenge and emerged 21st amongst 205 of his illustrious peers. His journey continued with a Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis–the second busiest emergency department nationwide. After his residency, Dr. Ledda dedicated himself to providing the highest caliber emergency care as a full-time physician at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna for 25 years—treating nearly 60,000 patients within that time. This experience provided Dr. Ledda with a first-hand glimpse of the devastating effects of chronic disease. Thus, prompting him to pursue further education in prevention and wellness. Dr. Ledda believed there was a better way to manage, treat, and possibly even prevent the onset of chronic age-related diseases.

Within a few days after the evaluation day and prescribed changes in my food habits, my body began feeling lighter, my mind clearer than ever before and my retention improved in great measure. All of these have added new dimensions to my work and life.
I feel like a new woman. I cannot believe how much better I feel. This is the first time in three years I’ve not had a blasting headache at 4 pm. No more Valium to sleep and I’m waking up naturally after eight hours. I was squished into a size 16 and now am in a loose 12. And I have no cravings. I feel human again and together.
I am so grateful for helping me become healthier and more vibrant. I was in such a low place, feeling lost and hopeless about what I could do to ever feel strong and get to a healthy weight again. I’m losing weight, feeling stronger. I no longer feel the despair and frustration about how my life was going.
In 2013, Dr. Ledda was the 3rd physician to complete the certification in Age Management Medicine through the Cenegenics Institute. Since then, Dr. Ledda has become a Cenegenics partner dedicated to offering his patients personalized care by leveraging the powers of environmental correction, lifestyle optimization, individualized nutrition plans and hormone-balancing therapies. His dedication to offering his patients the highest caliber of holistic care prompted Dr. Ledda to leave his full-time emergency care position to create his own wellness clinic: Community Health and Wellness. Which is situated on his expansive, personally owned lodge in Soldotna: All Alaska Outdoors. Dr. Ledda’s mission is to provide all of his patients with the necessary tools, education, and support needed to successfully manage their age-related issues and optimize vitality.
